5th Apr'08 (Sat): CEVA's D&D nite @ Sheraton Hotel! rebOnded my hair wif tien @ Plaza... ruShed e hairdResser s i gOtta ruShed 4 e D&D... Meeting Pat @ Ivy's place @ 5.45pm... e dinner's frOm 6pm-12am... gt onli haf an hr 4 mi 2 waSh up & pRepare... Rush Rush Rush! Hurried over to Bedok 2 fetch Catherine & tailed Jasmine's car as we weRen't sure how 2 go... it waS 7pm when we reaChed... dRopped our lucky dRaw cOupons & seaRched 4 an empty table... had a haRd time s mOst of e tables didn't haf enuff seats 2 cater 2 e 8 of us - Pat, Von, MengWei, ShiYing, Jasmine, Alfred, Jeslyn & mi... in e end, we had 2 split up into 2 gRoups... n i'm seated bhind e Mgt Board - SP Tan (RVP) & other directors, COO & Ctry Mgr etc... *stRessed* haha... 4get 2 mentiOn, e Theme's "Masquerade Party"! sOme bRought alOng their deSigned maSks while sOme dResSed up 2 fit e theme! it waS gRand! still rem laSt yr's D&D was held @ EXPO (Theme: Wild Wild West)... haha... lOoks like e budget's getting much better tis yr rOund...!

overall, e event's gReat! e MC's enteRtaining & never fails 2 make us laugh thRoughout e nite! we've games & "cOmpetitiOns" (btw e 'Champions' & e 'Boss')... He'll realli make eveRy1 paRticipate! fOr instance, eveRy table will need 2 find 2 ppl 2 hOld each end of a stRing while e reSt will tRy 2 seaRch 4 e items requeSted by him 2 tie onto e stRing... all's well until his laSt item reqUested - a dollar nOte wif seRial no. ending wif "2008"... man! tis is tough... all of us toOk out our wallets & seaRched but 2 no avail... finally 1 table pRoduced a $5 dollar nOte & emeRged s e winner... we admitted defeat willingly... haha... dat was supeRb! theRe weRe other games like seaRching 4 e lady having e sexieSt vOice, a machO guy having e utmOst tOlerance (5 guys cOmpete 2 c whu can tahan e lOngeSt hOlding onto a metal flaSk of water)... & e beSt-dRessed woman/man of e nite whu gOtta went thru' paiRing & danCing... laStly, they haf 2 get thru' e vOting of e "management" (empoweRed persOnnel like e RVP, COO etc...) whu will flaSh their withholding decisiOn caRds of either "HOT" or "NOT"! a gReat 'saying' by e MC; "staff vOtes, Mgt decides" - refleCting e haRsh reality working wOrld... we can all yell our heaRts out 2 suppoRt ani individual but he/she may not b "appRoved" by e bOard... their decisiOn stands... & tis is y my colleagues's mum (e beSt-dRessed lady of e nite in my colleagueS' & my opiniOn) lOst 2 e winner by 1 vOte... wat a pity! $250 caSh...

e event went smOothly & succeSsfully... after it ended @ ard midnite, we went 2 Swiss Hotel 4 sOme hangout... it was my 1st viSit & my "laogOng" wanna bRing mi gO... we stayed @ City Space (70th Storey) till 2++am... tOok sOme fotOs, chatted & admiRed e sceneRy b4 leaving... e view's great! how dOes it feels like having a glasS of cOcktail on e 70th stOrey, overloOking e city aRea...?!?
